My wonderful holidays on the “Working Holiday in Germany” program flew by unexpectedly quickly. This means it’s time to write a detailed review that should help people planning to take the same path. It all started with a huge amount of stress, as closer to April I learned that my friends and I would have to part ways. This decision was based on the results of the first interview with an employer from Pomerania. I was definitely not thrilled about the prospect of going alone to a small town called Bottrop, which I had never heard of; after all, I initially wanted to go to the picturesque island of Rügen in the Baltic Sea. But! I decided not to give up and am now very happy that I made the right decision. Germans are amazing people. They are always ready to help a stranger, point out the right direction, and even accompany you to the train, while telling you everything about themselves… The end of the trip was marked by two pleasant surprises – receiving a symbolic Oscar from my colleagues and a big salary. I am very satisfied!
