Mauritius is a year-round resort with powder-white sandy beaches and lush tropical vegetation, located in the southwestern part of the Indian Ocean, near Madagascar. The exchange program offers a unique opportunity to complete an internship on the island of Mauritius lasting from 3 to 6 months. One could say that the most valuable aspect of this internship is not so much the financial compensation as the chance to live and work on this island, one of the most beautiful tourist resorts in the world. In addition to internships in hospitality, positions may be available in areas such as marketing, logistics, information technology, or finance. Recruitment for the program is open year-round, but there are better chances of finding an interesting internship placement from July through April. Having work experience in the internship field is not a primary requirement, but it will be considered a significant advantage.
Special conditions include higher pay, free accommodation and meals, and a paid flight.

Requirements
- Students and recent graduates, aged 18–35;
- For recent graduates, education should correspond to the internship field;
- A recent graduate must obtain approval to participate in the internship from their University;
- English at an Upper-Intermediate level, and knowledge of French would be an advantage;
- Preferably have work experience in the internship field.
Programs have fixed dates. Confirm the start date of the selected program with the IEC coordinator. Program duration — from 1 week to 3 years, depending on the selected program. Document submission — 4-6 months before the program start date.
