Hospitality Internship: Reviews
Hospitality Internship: Paid hospitality internship in Australia
Intern at Australia’s top hotels and enjoy its breathtaking scenery.
“My good friend Anya P. once said, “Australia is Hawaii — only bigger!” That’s how my Australian story began! 🙂 A year ago IEC and I started the paperwork for my participation in the Internship Program in Australia, designed for those who want to intern and gain an unforgettable experience at an Australian company. The whole process, from the first idea to my passport with the visa sticker, took about six months. During that time I successfully passed two phone interviews. IEC also helped compile and send a hefty package of documents to the Australian sponsor — probably the most extensive set I’ve had to prepare for any educational or work program abroad. Then, once an employer was found, we moved on to the final visa stage, and it was issued to me quickly and without any problems. From the time before the trip and up to now, the program sponsor, supervisor Maria Bitzova, has been coordinating and looking after me — we’re in constant contact and she gives me all the support and help I need. I’ve been in Australia for four months now, living in the beautiful seaside town of San Remo and working at one of Victoria’s top resorts. The internship, I think, is going great 🙂 The knowledge and experience I’m gaining here were definitely worth all the effort that went into this program. And of course, Australia is a country of breathtaking scenery, amazing wildlife, and happy people! It really does remind you of Hawaii — endless sandy beaches and crowds of surfers :))”

“I decided to do an internship in Australia to broaden my culinary knowledge. During the internship I got to know national cuisines from around the world. I tried a variety of dishes and picked up culinary skills not typical of my home cuisine. My time in Australia was valuable not only for my career but also helped me discover my strengths and weaknesses. Stepping out of my comfort zone made me independent and ready to face any challenges ahead!”
