My good friend Anya P. once said, “Australia is Hawaii, only bigger!” And that’s how my Australian story began! 🙂 A year ago, my CMO and I started the paperwork for my participation in the Internship Program in Australia, designed for those who would like to intern and gain unforgettable experience in one of the Australian companies. The whole process, from the idea to the passport with the visa affixed, took about 6 months. During this time, I successfully passed 2 phone interviews. We also gathered and sent a substantial package of documents to the Australian sponsor, probably the most serious one I’ve ever had to put together for participating in various educational and work programs abroad. Then, when an employer was found, the final stage of the visa application followed, which was issued to me quickly and without any problems. Throughout the entire period leading up to the trip and until now, I have been supervised and “cared for” by the program sponsor, represented by supervisor Maria Bitzova, with whom I am in constant contact and who provides me with all kinds of support and assistance if needed. I have been in Australia for 4 months now, living in the wonderful town of San Remo right by the sea and working at one of the best resorts in the state of Victoria. The internship, in my opinion, is going great 🙂 The knowledge and experience I am gaining here are undoubtedly worth all the efforts that were put into this program. And, of course, Australia is a country of beautiful landscapes, amazing animals, and happy people! And indeed, the endless sandy beaches and crowds of people with surfboards remind me of Hawaii :))
