What level of English and Spanish do you need to join the program?

English at an upper-intermediate level is required; a basic level of Spanish is welcome.

How can I pay for the program?

After signing the agreement at IEC, the registration fee of €300 is due within 7 calendar days. The remainder of the program fee is due within 14 calendar days after your program sponsor registers you for the course and you accept the offer.

Where do participants live?

Your program sponsor helps you find housing. You’ll need to pay a fee to sign the rental agreement with the landlord (€110-€150), pay for the accommodation itself (starting at €300 per month), and also pay a deposit (€150).

How are the courses evaluated?

Courses in the Working experience in Spain program are assessed using ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), commonly known as the “European system for transferring credits.” It’s a universal system for measuring a student’s study workload when completing an educational program or an individual course. My friend and I are going together — will we be able to work in the same city?

This option may be available, but the sponsor can’t guarantee it. When you apply, you’ll need to provide the first and last name of the friend you’re traveling with.

What’s the minimum salary?

The starting salary is approximately 300 EUR per month plus bonuses. After three months, the salary typically increases.

When can I fly to Spain?

You can only fly to the country after you’ve received your visa.
