To participate in the program, your English level must be at least Intermediate.

Easy! The interview is an informal Skype chat with the program sponsor. During the call the sponsor will check your language level, past experience, and your motivation for the internship. Being able to answer convincingly where you study, what you’re studying (or studied), and why you want to take part is the first step to being accepted into the program.

After you sign the agreement with IEC, you’ll need to pay the registration fee of €300 within 7 calendar days. The second part of the program fee is due within 14 calendar days after your sponsor finds a job offer and you confirm it.

Minimum program duration is 3 months; maximum is 4 months, depending on the job offer.

Kitchen, food service, check-in and guest service, administrative and housekeeping duties. Tasks depend on the participant’s skills and experience. Participants with little or no work experience can’t expect more skilled roles (for example, a manager position).

You’ll need to be prepared to work overtime. Working hours depend on the host company and the season. Because these jobs are in tourism and hospitality, you may work up to 10 hours a day, 5–6 days a week.

In this case, the program sponsor can help you find accommodation for an additional fee. The cost depends on the location, duration, and other housing conditions. However, you should be flexible about accommodation. For more information, including pricing for this service, check with an IEC representative.

This option is available for small groups of up to 3 participants, but the sponsor can’t guarantee it. When you register, you’ll need to provide the full name of the friend you’d like to travel with.

You can only buy tickets after you receive your visa and after you’ve agreed the travel dates with your program sponsor. Only after the sponsor provides written confirmation can you purchase the ticket.

All documents will be issued for a specific employer and cannot be changed. If participants have any disagreements with their employer, they should contact the sponsor. An appropriate decision will be made based on the reason for the disagreement.
