What language level is required to participate in the program?
To join the program, your English level must be at least Intermediate. Basic knowledge of Spanish is also recommended.
How do I pay for the program?
You’ll pay the registration fee of €300 within 7 calendar days after signing the agreement with IEC. The second installment of the program fee is due within 14 calendar days after your sponsor enrolls you in the program.
How long is the program?
The minimum program length is 8 weeks and the maximum is 12 weeks. Participants can stay in the country as tourists without a visa for up to 90 days.
What’s the process for finding an employer?
You’ll look for an employer on your own after arriving in Argentina. The program sponsor provides guidance on how to find a job — how to write your resume and prepare for interviews with employers. However, the sponsor doesn’t guarantee that you’ll find an employer.
What kind of work can I expect?
Most jobs are in the service sector — restaurants, hotels, shops, car washes, internet cafes, and more.
What salary can I expect?
Depending on the employer and workplace, participants can earn around $2–3 per hour.
Where will I live while working in Argentina?
You’ll need to book accommodation through the program sponsor for the duration of the course (minimum 4 weeks). Accommodation can be in a student dorm, hostel, hotel, or with a host family. Prices vary by type and length of stay — approximately €98 to €196 per week. Your IEC coordinator can provide more information about accommodation if needed.
When can I fly to Argentina?
You should buy tickets only after getting prior approval from your program sponsor. Usually you’ll need to arrive in Córdoba a couple of days before the program starts.
