What’s included

Placement in a suitable volunteer program
Room and board during orientation/cultural weeks;
Room and board during the volunteer program;

Transfer from the airport to the destination if the participant arrives on Sunday;
Sponsor-provided confirmation of participation in the volunteer program;
Program enrollment and ongoing support

Not included

Flights;
Airport transfer if you arrive any day except Sunday (in Thailand: except Saturday and Sunday): ~35 EUR one-way;

Visa and insurance arrangements.

Requirements

Age: 18 and up.
Basic English (A2) is required. If you’d like to join educational programs, your English should be intermediate (B1).
If you want to take part in medical programs, you usually need a background in medicine.

Programs have fixed dates. Confirm the start date of your chosen program with your IEC coordinator. Program duration: from 2 weeks. Submit your documents 4-6 weeks before the program start date.
