Learn the basics of teaching English and get a recognized TEFL certificate! Study in Chiang Mai and complete an internship at a school in Thailand.
What level of English do I need to join the program?
To join this program, your English must be at least Advanced. You should be able to communicate fluently in English on almost any topic.
Do I need to provide a certificate proving my language proficiency?
No, participants can take the IELTS test upon arrival in Chiang Mai.
Do I need to know Thai?
No. Classes are held in English, but the course includes an introduction to Thai culture and basic Thai for everyday communication.
Will someone meet me at the airport?
No, but the language school is only 5 km from the airport, and a taxi from the school or your accommodation costs just $6.
Where will you live while you’re working?
Your sponsor helps you find housing. You’ll have the option to live with a host family or in a student residence.
Do I need a teaching degree?
No teaching degree required.
Can I join the program without a university degree?
Yes.
Where can I work after the course?
In public and private schools, colleges, universities, and language centers throughout Thailand and in other countries. You can also teach online.
Can you find an employer for me?
The program sponsor will help you find job openings in Thailand, but this is NOT included in the services under the contract.
