Come to Hollywood, where you can make your acting dreams come true at a summer acting camp. This 3-week program takes place on the picturesque campus of California State University (Fullerton). It’s the perfect place to develop your acting style with expert instructors from Hollywood. You’ll train with students from around the world and gain practical skills in diction, articulation, character analysis, improvisation, developing a character, and responding to other actors on stage. The program includes daily rehearsals, trips to Hollywood and Universal Studios, backstage tours at a local theater, and attendance at two theater rehearsals in Los Angeles. Day by day your vocabulary will grow and your spoken English will improve during lessons with American teachers. At the end of the program you’ll perform a final theater piece that will be filmed, and you’ll receive a DVD.

The Surf Camp is located in one of California’s most affluent and beautiful areas — Orange County, a scenic stretch of the California coastline. It’s a true home for surfers from around the world. The camp is based at California State University in Fullerton. Founded in 1957, the university later became the largest in California. The beautiful campus sits in the thriving, lively city of Fullerton in north Orange County. It’s about 25 miles from downtown Los Angeles. Surfing lessons take place at Huntington Beach, widely known as Surf City USA. This beach is world-famous for surfing; many major competitions are held here. The 9-mile-long beach features the legendary pier and excellent conditions for surfing. Daily sessions led by professional instructors will help participants pick up skills in California’s signature sport. The program also includes exciting excursions to Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Venice Beach.

Since basketball first appeared in America in the 1800s, its popularity has skyrocketed. The sport is now one of the most famous worldwide, as shown by global stars Yao Ming and Pau Gasol. This 3-week program at FLS Fisher College combines daily basketball training with English lessons. You’ll train under the supervision of college coaches. Each day you’ll practice shooting and work on offense and defense, both individually and as part of a team. Local students can also take part in the program, so you’ll get to meet Americans while playing. Boston is home to the famous Boston Celtics, multiple-time NBA champions. The program includes a tour of the Celtics’ practice facility, a visit to the sports museum, and many other excursions that explore the city’s history.
