Au Pair in France: Destination

France is the world’s most visited country. Each year it welcomes over 70 million tourists — more than the country’s population.

Today, there are over 40,000 castles of all kinds across France.

Restaurant menus in France are almost poetry. Like real poetry, many of them are not only hard to translate, but even locals don’t always fully understand them. The French say, “So what — they’re beautiful, mysterious, and fun!” Learn French and simply ask for what you want — it’s the best way to experience French life and French cuisine.

Thanks to the program, I had the chance to spend three months in Paris. It was a fantastic experience. Now I know a lot more about the country I love, and French feels much closer and easier — almost like my native language. I also made lots of new friends and made the most of my final student break. I have the fondest memories of taking part in this program.
